Why should rabbits be sterilised/spayed/neutered?

They can have a litter (ranging from 4 to 14 kits) every 28 days and there are already enough rabbits suffering greatly.
They will continue to breed, form new colonies and be seen as vermin. We all know how humans treat vermin.
They are prone to reproductive cancers, so a spay/neuter will protect them from dying a terrible death.
They calm down and are less likely to be ‘aggressive’ towards other rabbits, chew furniture or dig holes.
It is important to sterlise both males and females as males remain fertile up to 6 weeks after the snip.
Please note, only exotic vets can sterilise/spay/neuter rabbits.
