Reney Warrington is a novelist, photographer, and curator who has opinions on film, television, coffee, and IPA beer. She regularly shares these unsolicited musings on her website, her socials and sometimes even legit publications. Animals did not feature.
Picture this. 2020, mere days before lockdown. Warrington encounters a little grey rabbit born under the shade of a loquat tree. She falls for the downy furball and names her Stoffel. Most of Warrington’s musings now include rabbits. She is also guardian to six permanent furry freeloaders, and three garden dwellers. Follow their adventures on the Stoffel and Company Insta.
Carol Venter is a Social Worker with a passion for both furry and non-furry creatures. When she’s not tackling mental health and addiction issues (for the non-furry), she is super busy running her bunny boarding service (for the furry), spending quality time with her freeloading fluffle of seven, or assisting with bunny rescue adventures. Oh, yeah, she also makes time for her non-furry 12-year-old son named Jared, very aptly named after Jared Leto.
Anri Grobler is a chartered accountant. She took one look at corporate life though and made a B-line for the door. Her passion is education, and her superpower is full-time tutoring. She also draws up a mean Excel (and labels everything, but that is another discussion), she rocks the bottle feeding of baby bunnies, and looks after her personal zoo expanding at an alarming rate.
The three (Anri + Reney + Carol = ARC) met whilst volunteering for Berario Bunnies. Between running and diving (Reney at an advanced age), swearing (all of them), blitzing the bunnies with a hand net (Anri, surprisingly), sweating (not Anri), standing on the big net (Carol) and being nice human beings (Ok, only Carol), they figured that their combined skills and love for bunnies, should be put to good use. ARC was born.
Anri, Carol, Jared, Reney.
